Hi.
I have an VFR 400 with NC24. Today I did the somoeng loop , which is a 100km of twisting roads outside Chiang Mai Thailand. Perhaps four or five times once in fourth and once in fifth and the rest in sixth when I changed up a gear it selected neutral (or spun freely).
In each case selecting up engaged the gear correctly. I believe that each time I upshifted lightly sometimes with clutch sometimes without.
It has never happened on downshift or when I have forcefully changed up. What could be the problem ?
Thanks Mark
Nc24 gear box sometimes getting neutrals in 4th 5th and 6th

I don't think there really is a problem...Sometimes if you don't upshift positively the gear doesn't quite engage and you just end up in a false neutral. As long as it doesn't jump out of gear under acceleration then i think all is well....

False neutrals, upshift more firmly.

yip, probably just false neutrals due to not being firm enough with the upshift.
try adjusting the gear lever down so it takes less movement to be positive on the upshift

Just a little tip:
If you ever false neutral change up and not down ^^
I've known a couple of guys who have come out of corners v.badly after shifting down out of a false neutral. It aint pretty
Hehe just keep those shifts nice and hard
