Indicator problem

Post by rojer386 »

When I'm using my indicators, my right signal flashes as normal but when wanting to signal left it doesn't work. If the bike is ticking over on the drive and I switch on the left hand indicator, nothing will happen for around a minute or so. After that it may work but not as it should.

Any ideas on why the right is working but not the left?

Check your indicator relay or module
Check your handlebar switch (most likely)
Check all connections

It will be something stoopid !!! had similar troubles with G/F bike turned out to be the switch innards were manky so worked fine when swapped, was easy for me as I had an NC30 hanging about at time to test different things

strip the switchgear down first and give it a wee clean, use some wd40 on the contacts......

if this does not work then check wiring etc
