iv heard loads of different accounts on fitting it i am not sure about anything now
do i keep the 30's throttle cables?
do u use 2 throttle cables or just the one?
do i use the throttle tube from the mc in the nc's housing?

Isn't an mc21 a cbr250? If so it will be the same pull as an nc30, maybe more.
I would ditch the return cable (seriously now, if the throttle spring snapped and you expect this cable to return the throttle you're dreaming!) and use the standard pull cable. It will easily hook up to your new throttle tube.

mc21 is a nsr250, which is a quicker action throttle to the standard,
tyga put one on one of their project bikes and only used the one throttle cable, and i have a feeling u have to use the nsr's cable because of the different turn throw

If you are running with no return cable the original cable will be fine, the size of the drum on a single cable settup makes no difference.
It is only when you have a cable going both ways that the length diffence between the inners and outers is critical.

If its anything like the NC29 the return cable will not be long enough and if you want to use one you will have to have one made, I use one on my 29 trackbike and its great, also have a proper HRC single cable 1/5th turn throttle on the RVF.
