oh that is good to hear ^_^
depending on what needles you have in your carbs you might be able to adjust them up a bit (by moving the circlip down a notch) to richen up the midrange, this should fix your midrange

Hi all.
Yes just going to put some k's on it now because it is/was so carboned up with unburnt fuel.
What we will do also is to change the 'stopper" pins on the floats as the rubbers looked a little perished probably due to it sitting for months with gasahol (ethanol blended fuel) with the previous owner.
Will look at the plugs after a couple of hundred k's and then chnge the 4 pins and look at the needle setting.
The biggest difference is that the exhaust is much cleaner and has almost no black smoke where as before it was like an old train.
Now we have to get the inside pinch bolt out as the bolts are siezed in and the inside one has the head rounded. The outside bolt came out with a LOT of force because there was some substance on the thread that prevented it rotating. After cleaning the bolt and thread and applying anti seize it was fine. The inside bolt need the same huge force and the head of the bolt being rounded make getting it out a pain in the ... .
Thanks for the help and advice
