What is this part number?
My throttle cable isn't standard, someone has put a quick action throttle on at some point, it only opens about 1/6th to full.
David Silvers website doesnt know what it is, and google returns nothing. Makes it hard to get a new cable
Its KY2-700-7L12.
Cheers!

im guessing the part number is not in the parts fiche
how did you source the part number?
what about the quick action throttle itself, where are they available from?,they might stock the cables!!!

Re: What is this part number?
I think that what`s on your cable is a manufacturers reference number.
The Honda part number for an `A` throttle cable should begin with 17910, so your cable should be 17910-KY2-700.

Re: What is this part number?
Thanks for that peeps, DS website says:
"17910KY2700
CABLE COMP A,THRO !D
This part has been discontinued and can no longer be ordered from Honda"
It doesn't say what bike it is from, is what Graeme said still correct? NC23?
Someone must make an equivalent right? Is a non genuine version of a part like that safe to use would you think?
EDIT - Will this do the trick?
EDIT 2 - Hmm, seems there is more than one type of cable depending on year, d'oh.
