My FZR400

Post by Matt-h »

Thought i would get my arse in gear and finally take some photos of my FZR

Its my first bike, and its on an F registration

Its a bit tatty, but I only paid £300 for it at the beginning of October.

The previous owner put a VTR?!? :? rear end on it, and i hate the painted screen and flouro calipers.

I gave it a service when i got it, oil, filters, plugs etc and had to replace the warped front discs with lightly used FZR600 ones.
I also replaced the pads all round.

The bike sailed through its MOT last week, so it owes me about £450 in total.

I know its not everyones cup of tea, but i'm quite happy with it as my first bike.

all comments welcome..........no offence taken ;)

Matt

It seems good for a first bike, but your right about the "styling touches" they're pretty ... unique

nothing wrong with it as a first bike, nice polished frame, back end looks ok! but for god sake get rid of the yellow, and not keen on the blue casings, but all in all, ideal to learn the joy of motorcycling, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!ted :D

Not keen on the blue either, but i think the back end looks gd, more comfy than a standard fzr (i'm guessing lol) overall a good looking machine, and for £300 an abosolute bargain if it actually runs!! lol

lol, yes it runs.

My mates only seem to clear off on the straights, so well happy with that.
