merry christmas mate.....

i would have thought your bike would have had a high beam relay fitted!!!!

it is usually a low beam relay that is not fitted and is usually needed for running uk spec bulbs,when you use your lights and you put the full beam on do you get a clicking noise?

if you do then this is the relay you hear clicking.

the reason jap imports already have a full beam relay is jap spec bulbs are 60/35 so the full beam wattage is the same as uk spec so they require a relay for full beam but because the low beam is only 35w then they do not need a low beam relay.

i would first double check that you definately do not have the full beam relay,just check for the clicking noise whilst putting full beam on

there was a thread on here somewhere with a guide to doing the low beam relay,i think it is quite universal....not bike specific.i will try and find it but i know someone will give good info on this.

http://www.400greybike.cc/newforum/view ... +relay+mod" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

on the first page there is a diagram for doing the mod,it is on the diagram for the nc30 but it should give you a good idea.

funnily enough the thread was started by myself :lol:
