Amazing looking bike mate!!

Some mint parts on that!

Very Similar in looks to what i have planned for mine. Have you got more details about the rest of the build, fairings etc?

Mate,

I think you defenitelly need Crash Bobbins to protect all of this.

im planning that too. as much as possible i dont want to drill holes in my fairings so im thinking of fabricating a bracket so that the crash bobbins will pass in the air ducts of the side fairings.

i havent installed yet a HID in my bike, but its possible to install one. i have a friend who have an HID and we gave a try of fitting it in the bike. since my bike have plenty of space in the front cowl, the ballast can be hidden under the headlamp.

i saw one item (i forgot the brand name) which has a sort of extension wire where you can place your ballast up to the compartment or under your seat. ill try to check in the stores when my bike is ready for the HID lights.

if you find an extension kit let me know.... my ballasts are sitting beside my clocks and are an eye sore. i wont cut the wiring when there is 24,000Volts going through it!

Back to the original topic - yes, a new mount for the can would look much nicer, but do you really need it? I've been riding mine (note: not racing!) for several months with NO mount for the muffler, it's a Scorpion can. No ill effects yet.

ive done some photo editing with my bike pic to see how my bike will look like if it has the galfer rotors (which still in the US) and modify the brace for the exhaust.

gtlover, my end can will not look good if it not have any bracket or support. my yoshimura comes with a mounting holes for the bracket.

any suggestions around there for the bracket? im also thinking of fabricating a carbon fiber bracket, but looking a CF in PI is very difficult. i wish i could find one....
