I can agree with the ABBA stand, absolutely quality piece of kit. Even held up to my bikes weight with me* sitting on the pillion perch (to raise the front up) and my 2 friends pulling the front end off quite violently.

* = im a very stocky person.

abba stands are handy but if you can get a 2nd hand SS stand go for it,because you can always sell it on on here when your looking rid of it

Well - thisis it when I got it out of my hay garage and into the main garage - whiped th stdcan off it and the tank. It looks OK - used to be White_Sliders old ibike before he rammed a Focus with it and broke the forks and snapped the engine mounts off the front cylinder head. Iftnfs bought it and sold it on the my mate Grandad. He did feck all with it apart from polish the forks, yokes and res cap and fitted a few new bolts.

It has not run for over a year....

So -

I have now got it with the front cylinder head ready to pop off and the valves to be whipped out and lapped into the new head -

I will get a new thread on it as I am sure I could bore you all to tears....

My steed as she stands today:

Shes booked in for a full service and tune-up on thursday so will be running sweet by then. I also have a tin of red paint and lacquer to do the top fairing in the correct colour when the weather warms up. Only thing i need now is a good condition left mid-fairing... then i can start fettling properly :twisted:
