nc35 tidy up
just bought a nc35 track bike in need of some TLC.
first thing was check the vin. turns out it's still road registered which is a real bonus.
has a great spec. maxton suspension front and rear. Yamamoto exhaust (I think)
beet full bank rearsets
front subframe are aluminium
adjustable clip ons
plus lots of other goodies.
from the description I assumed the owner didn't realise or appreciate what he had. turned out he knew but didn't care as he had other things on in life.
one collection the owner had said it's as fast as one of these get. apparently has a 414 cosworth piston kit and flowed cylinder heads.
whiped the carbs off and sure enough there heads are ported. will be Interesting to see what she makes on a dyno.
I dont currently have time to do a full restoration so it's just having a good refresh.
new chassis bearings all round.
vapour blast engine cases, swingarm, cam covers etc
majority of the chassis bolts and brackets zinc plated
wheels and lots of other brackets ordered.
time for some upgrades too...
RO aluminium subframe
RO gsxr1000 flywheel
lipo battery
tyga endurance fairing and seat
replacement stock looking radiators.
majority of the work will be completed within a few weeks other than the paintwork, suspension revalve and a few odds and sods.
bikes now sat stripped down was everything been sent away on monday. 1 week turnaround time... or so I've been told!

Re: nc35 tidy up
I'm just about to order some new sprockets for it too. its currently sat with 15t 42 rear 525.
any suggestions what to go for? I'd have thought it would currently top out under 120mph with that gearing.
the motor should be good for a solid 70hp so do you think it's worth going back to stock or maybe slightly longer gearing for the road?
seems like 15-42 wont take advantage of the extra hp

Re: nc35 tidy up
Good to see it getting a new lease of life :)
414 kits would give you approx 5hp - according to the Gforce guys who sorted all that out - have a read on here if you want to get into it
