NC30 Dipped Beam Voltage Drop.
Hi all,
Having a strange issue with my jap spec NC30. I’ve recently resurrected it after 18 months of not using it. It’s all going lovely apart from dipped beam. I’ve read plenty on them needing relays for standard H4 bulbs. Mine has got H4 bulbs fitted but no relay as far as I am aware. It had an intermittent switch (dipped beam would go out if you wiggled it) but I stripped it and cleaned it out and it was all working perfectly. 2 days later and I’ve got no dipped beam.
Testing it shows main beam receiving 12v and dipped only 9v. I’m struggling to know where to start with this one. Could it be related to the lack of relay? What else could be causing the voltage drop?
Any idea would be greatly welcomed.
Cheers
Ollie.
