Any tips on how to remove the front mudguard brackets on the forks?

They slide of over forks

Remove the forks from the yokes remove the c clip (it has been a number of years since I did this but Magg and Mark reminded me :oops: )then slide them up, they are a tight fit

There maybe be a large "C" ring on top.
