I have tried to find the link for de-restricting the electronic restrictor in the speedo on the 92 Superfour but cant find it anywhere can any one help please.

I thought the only restricted were in the carburettors..

The carburettor restrictors were to restrict the horse power to 33hp the electronic speedo restrictor is to limit the top speed.

On a CB-1 you just need to put 12v to the orange/blue wire. Easiest on the board inside the clocks, cut the three wires, insulate green and put black to orange/blue. IDK if it's the same on a CB400.

It takes quite a long run up to get to that speed anyway, is it worth the trouble?

My 92 Superfour is a little flying machine in the first four gears but as soon as it nears 140/150 kph the performance really drops off I am not saying I would ride any faster (I have a vfr800for that) but it would be nice to know that I could if I wanted too. :grin:

Cut the pink wire in the clocks.
