Starter Motor

Post by Travis »

Hello,

I trust everyone is well.

Is the RVF 400 NC35 starter motor, the same as the VFR NC30's?

The starter motor on my NC35 has stopped working, and before I source one I need to try confirm if a VFR one will fit?

Thanks!

NC30 and NC35 are effectively the same part number.

Maybe the starter solenoid has failed. If it is the motor, it may only need brushes.

i see that Wemoto sells rebuild kits for the starter, Im tempted, but the cost is high to import, its alot more affordable to get a second hand starter. but then I may wel just have that one fail, so im torn at the moment on how to proceed.

Have you removed and disassembled the motor, cannot offer any repair advice without inspection.
