NC30 number plate size

Post by CMSMJ1 »

Morning all,

As I am a self confessed NC nerd...I should know this.. But what is the size of the plate that comes as std on the NC30?

I have a humongous plate that covers my reflector pod and as I need an EU safe plate I am going to get the correct size fo rthe bike...but I do not know what it is.

cheers

is that standard enormous size?

I think I need an 8*6 then - what size are your NI plates? They seem to fit spot on

Funnily enough, Rhory and I just ordered new plates on Monday. His was 7 X 5 and mine was 8 X 6 iirc. I'll check for you later as I'm stuck in work for now (unless Rhory pops his head in)

(PS do you still want these Sidi boots? I need your address)

Yes please mate - the 7*5 is too small I think...so the 8*6 will be the clincher!

We will see....

The 8 X 6 is what I had on when we were over last year and fits perfectly. The 7 X 5 was just a little too small for my liking.

this is the standard 9 x 7, next to the 7 x 5 which is fitted to the bike
i personally think that the 7 x 5 plate really tidy's the back end up.

Nice one Simmo - that is where it's at!

Reckon the 7*5 is too small seeing as I need the euro sign ballache on it.

appreciated mate :D

I'll show you what a 8 X 6 looks like later today, I got my new plate last night. Is the Euro sticker for going away with? If so, I didn't both last year for Spain/France and nothing was said.
