FZR400 Flatslide Carbs
Hi Guys
Just noticed that my old 3EN2 has flatslides. I have just bought a new FZR400 3EN1 with FZR600 carbs - the same flatslides that are in my 3EN2.
I am just wondering if these are the ones people lust after. Or whether they are just standard junk?
I guess jetting now takes on a new look as original 1WG jets (in the oval slide carbs) wont fit? Any ideas?
Cheers

Re: FZR400 Flatslide Carbs
None of the FZR600's ever had flatslides unfortunatly, and the 3EN2 didnt either. However some 3EN2's have been fitted with the 400RRSP latslides in the past, but as you've said they are pretty damn rare.
Best thing is to get a pic up of the carbs in question, and lets see what you have.

The "common" carbs are CV and the later SP's used Flatsides, both types are manufactured by the same company

Well, unfortunately they arent the fancy race ones... DAMN
However, I have found this pic of the carbs (I was too lazy to go take a pic):
