Any interest in a Ducati front end fitting kit?

Post by Riley »

I've got the materials to make up another Ducati front end (yokes/forks/etc) fitting kit, if anyone is interested just drop me a line, £75 delivered (Uk), delivery time would be approx. 2-3 weeks from point of £10 deposit (Due to getting a slot to have the machining done). This kit is tried and tested, as used on my own bike, Smevs special and Shokrabis track bike. Several other kits have also been sold but not unveiled on the site.

As I understand, its a Ducati eccentric steering head, which has been machined to slot straight into your NC30 headstock. Obviously Riley is paying for someones time in making these.

I fitted Shokrabis with him some time ago. Its very easy to do. Im planning to do this to my own bike (NC35 though) for next winter. I have ridden shokrabi's bike on a few occasions and its so so good as you would expect from the quality of suspension and brakes used.

As Pyschosomatic88 says its a machined eccentric adjuster which slots straight in.

These adjusters aren't usually that cheap either - Don't think Riley can be making any profit on these!!!

These kits then allow you to use the forks, yokes, wheels and discs straight off a Ducati from the 748,996,998, and 749,999 ranges - not sure about Monsters tho.

An easy install and top upgrade!!!

Thankyou gentlemen, they've got it bang on the head. The kit consists of 2 (rather special) top hat spacers with integrated bearing shells machined from genuine Ducati parts, these slot into place of the origonal Honda bearing holders and re-use the Honda bearings. To be honest Smev you're not far off, this will be the last set at this price (I can't even buy the parts in this country for the price I've been selling the kits for, and with the pound becoming less valuable my supplier in the states has become too expensive to supply at this price. The Margin is very tight).

Deposit taken on the last kit. This maybe the last kit for some time until I can source some more sensibly priced ducati parts.
