Fuel filter and tank cleaning

Hi all. I've just started overhauling my RVF after it being laid up for 5 years+. The tank looked pretty gunky inside and the fuel tap filters weren't very clean.

Can anyone recommend a good way I can clean the inside of the tank myself and if there's a recommended product for cleaning up the fuel tap filter?

Vinegar solution swilled round the tank is a good cleaner,just clean tap out with the same..rinse well and should be ok
