NC23 Tri Arm exhaust
Can anyone please tell me (or insert a photo) what the correct exhaust should look like for this bike? I have a an RRJ model (based on frame and engine number). The current exhaust just has a set of downpipes that go 4-1 and end under the back of the engine. There is a home-made link to the rear part of the exhaust that ends in the 3 point connection for the silencer. I also have (2nd hand) a set that is all in one (apart from the silencer) that goes 4-2-1, with the double pipe bit one on top of the other. Hwoever, this doesn't fit the manifold very well (it is a bit out of true) and I want to know if it is the right bit of kit before I start trying to bend it about to fit properly. Being useless at IT matters, I can't post any photos of the above items
! Will an RRK or NC29 unit fit? Thanks.

Re: NC23 Tri Arm exhaust
The 4-2-1 exhaust should be better than the current 4-1 system. The 4-1 system is likely to give a flat-spot in power halfway through the rev range that no amount of rolling road tuning can resolve.
The 4-2-1 system you're trying to fit is probably a used, standard 23 system.
I believe RRJ and RRK systems are identical and an nc29 system can be made to fit with minor modifications.
Forum member stimpy can give you the fine details on fitting a 29 system to a 23.
With regards to posting pictures - it's very easy.
You first need to upload any images you want to a hosting site such as http://photobucket.com and simply copy and paste the image url (web address) in between [img#] like this [/img#] but with out the #'s.

Re: NC23 Tri Arm exhaust
For now I have decide to go with the stainless 4-1 downpipes as the 4-2-1 system has a ding in one of the downpipes that has knocked it out of line and it will be more of a problem to fix in the short term than a link for the 4-1 system.
DEP pipes in Maidstone made me a link to go from the end of the 4-1 downpipes to the back section that leads to the end-can connector. Does anyone know if using this system will require any non-standard jetting? My mate who had the bike before me said it used to be great on a trackday but he never used it for everyday riding.

delkevic.....hhhhmmmm...ive got a set "guaranteed to fit" my as* had to bend my hanger out to hold them off the swingarm, thus having to alter the brace and cut the bolt. "guaranteed for life" "terms apply" well the terms never came with them so i dont know what they are. some others on this site say they are alright tho.
