Intake snorkel drawings?

Post by lutorm »

Hello all,

Does anyone have dimensions or drawings (or just pictures with scale) of the NC30 intake snorkel, or would be willing to make them? Mine is missing and I'm going to 3D print it. I guess at a minimum I need to know how long it is on both sides of the airbox hole, how it's bent, what the cross sectional area is, and whether it's constant or "trumpets" out at the ends.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

/Patrik J.

Anyone able to help out?

As an added incentive, I'll make a copy and mail to whoever gives me the dimensions! ;)

Honda dont like to give out drawings for anything, and measuring the radii on the trumpets accurately would be difficult. Rick oliver sells HRC copy trumpets for the 30 and the short trumpets for the 35. WOuld probably be easier and cheaper to get a set from him, unless you know someone with a 3d laser scanner.

I think he is looking for the airbox snorkle Jeff.Even more difficult to measure,
Also they are rubberized material so it would be no point in making it in hard plastic.
