Will NGK CR9EH9 or CR8EH9 spark plugs work on a VFR400 NC24 as I can not find C9EH9 or C8EH9 spark plus in South Africa

yes, C8EH9 is stock plug.. 9 is for extended high speed riding and not usually necessary.
