Do the 4dx and the 3tj share the same speedo drive?

I've bought some MPH clocks from a 4DX, although I do have a gold MPH converter on the front wheel drive it would be nice to remove it and have a proper MPH speedometer.

I've read everything I can find about the 12500rpm rev restriction, I'm pretty sure I can defeat that OK.

I wondered if anyone here might know if the 4dx and the 3tj share the same front spindle speedo drive and if it has the same gearing?

If not I'll need to get the 4dx part to make the speedometer read correctly.

Yes it will fit fine the only difference is the trip gears inside and the face plate of the dial.
The 4dx speedo dosent have the "Flag" for the the 112mph limit.

Use a 4dx cdi.
Lots of people can get around the speed restriction until they actually try it.

I might end up with a 4dx cdi.

I've got man flu at the moment, If I make it through and survive it I'll investigate
further in a day or two.
