I guess I'll be trying to get on the back of Kieran :) IN a friendly way (and without exposing my lack of talent and riding these days)
Track walk? I reckon I might run a couple laps.... you up for that?

random question - race fuel or avgas100, any ideas ? or anyone run it ?
race fuel would suffice with A747 - that should help stop some of the detonation up top when really hot.

I don't think avgas is what it used to be from what I've read. I ran it in the race MZ last year.

Paul if you have a google you will quickly get some info, avgas is very high in lead to protect valves at high altitude, this is not great for your 2t, people usually run it around 30/35% mixed with super but this is because its cheap compared to a race fuel.
The race fuels are very nice and very expensive, don't even know where you get that stuff from but much nicer than avgas mix.
My brother use to use that stuff when 1/4 mile racing a 270cc Lami scooter, nice stuff.
Is definitely detonation, can you run a cooler plug or a bigger rad/no thermostat etc.

This was just posted on the Diffrent Strokers forum, I thought I'd put it up here FYI:-
For info, there's a car trackday at Cadwell on Fri 8th. This means that we may not have access to the lower paddock until the cars have left around 8pm. You'll still be able to turn up and pitch your tent, but you may have to do that in the upper paddock depending on when you arrive and how busy it is.
There'll also be noise-testing in the upper paddock Fri night to reduce the queues on Sat morning, if you're taking part in the track sessions.

Yeah gutted mate. I know you'll miss my expertise in the areas of gazebo anchorage and circlip location.
Looking forward to next year and another ride in the recovery truck.
