Front left header pipe is cold?
Just noticed the front left header pipe is cold, the others are all hot. Is this normal?
If not, any ideas what could be causing this?

Hows the bike running ? I would have said its running on 3 only , but is that too obvious, check the plug and the spark off that cylinder

Re: Front left header pipe is cold?
Running very badly: revs hanging at 3-2k, when I blip the throttle at idle the bike gasps for air and sometimes cuts out.
Tested the plug which is working as it should. I'm guessing it's only running on three, just need to figure out if it's a carb or engine issue.. Will get the cylinders compression tested next and make sure the carbs are all set perfectly.

Hi you could just drain a little fuel out of the Offending cylinder carb bowl , just to see if its getting fuel, then go from there

Re: Front left header pipe is cold?
If you've taken them off are you going to clean them, because if you've got a spark at the plug and fuel in the bowl the only other thing is a blockage in the jets

The idle jets are new too? They are the usual suspects. That and or check float heights

Change the plugs over and see if it starts working in that cylinder.if it goes bad on other cylinder you know its plugs,if still the same then check plug cap, then carbs.....these motors are very spark plug sensitive, and one that sparks may not be ok to keep it running on that cylinder,,when were they last changed??
