I've never used the nitron shock to be honest i heard they got it wrong but then i wouldn't imagine rick would be selling them if they did. How long is the shock?
I can post some of one with a ohlins shock set to 315mm but you cant really get fitment wrong, well atleast i dont think you can, you have both parts of the linkage dont you?

Hi Tony yes got both parts of the linkage I'm sure the linkage is on the correct way don't think it can be fitted any other way !! The shock was one that Rick said I needed !! The measurement from the centre of each hole is 310mm but lookin at the shock it might be able to be lengthened !

Yes i tried the recommended 310mm length first amd even for a shortarse like me it was too low, is the nitron length adjustable?

Just been in the shed the shock is adjustable in length but still can't get it to fit properly it's like the pull arm dog leg thing that comes with the hrc linkage is too short !!

I had mine fitted to a RVF and used it no problems however........Yakama now has it and ive just fitted it to his VFR and yes the spring touches the swignarm with it up on a abba stand, is this the problem your having? It certainly didnt touch on my RVF as the spring is mark free, very odd but i'll have a play when i have a bit more time and get back to you.
