Magtek wheels question................
I`m in the process of refurbing my NC35.
Giving some serious thought to swapping the standard wheels for a pair of Magteks (as fitted to SP versions of NSR250 MC28 models)
The rear wheel on both the NSR and RVF are the same at 17 x 4.50 with a tyre size of 150/60/17
But...........The Magtek front measures 17 x 3.00 and takes a 110/70 x 17inch tyre
as against the standard wheel which measures 17 x 3.50 and takes a 120/60 x 17inch tyre
Has anyone done this before and subsequently had problems with handling............Any/all help & advice will be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Re: Magtek wheels question................
With less width and a taller profile tire it SHOULD tip in a bit faster and have more contact when leaned way over. Just don't run a 120 front tire on it and you should be ok.

That is accurate. Mine seems to turn from no more than just thinking about it.canada.NC30.rider wrote:With less width and a taller profile tire it SHOULD tip in a bit faster and have more contact when leaned way over. Just don't run a 120 front tire on it and you should be ok.
