NC30 clip-ons question...
Hi guys and girls.
I'm trying to rebuild my bike after it was stolen, found it 100 yards down my road (the broken choke cable was my saviour here I reckon) but they ripped out the wiring to the ignition, bent the top yoke, and stole the brake lever they removed to snap the stealing lock.
All the above has been repaired, but I have found that the throttle is sticking now, and reckon they have bent the bar in their snapping the steering lock, which leads me to my question.
In my quest to keep it as standard shape as possible, does anyone know if there are aftermarket clip-ons that have the fittings to fit the standard bar end weights, ie with screw fitment to screw into.
Or if not; recommendations?
Thanks
Matt

Have you checked they just didn't crush the cable walls themselves (black sleeve with spiral steel) if so it could be grabbing. And also they usually break the lug that goes in between the top yoke clamp. Only saying worth a check

Re: NC30 clip-ons question...
Hi there,
Thanks for the replies, but I've managed to get it returning while the bars are straight, but gets caught when the bars are turned left or right, I'm gonna have someone else have a look to see if they have any ideas,
Got a funny feeling it's the bars as if I un tighten the throttle housing bolts and slide the throttle tube down the bar it seems to free it up and it returns a lot more smoothly.
