nc30 fan thermo switch size

need to get a thermo switch for my new gpi rad as the standard honda one doesnt fit!?..anyone know what/which size to get?.thanks. :peace:

The standard one should fit mine did but I vaguely remember some had an issue with the threads needing tapped on GPI rads or sent back.

the one on mine is to big(only slightly)for the standard switch to fit...i know some were small.some were big and some needed retapping..but threads are good...jusr need a fatter threaded one!

Kinda goes against my way of doing things apologies in advance but you could try PTFE thread tape from a plumbers merchant or threadlock if it's marginal otherwise would get on to them for a replacement rad they are what they are for the money but should still be fit for purpose.

hi dave.yes i its way to small to do that..needs another switch..i didnt get it from manufacturer so cant return...although its a new one i think its a few years old....2009 i think..would be a shame if i cant fit fan as ive gone down the hrc oil cooler route with 50mm filter and got the fan to fit all good..so just waiting on switch!
