NC30 seat lock 2 keys annoying! !!

Hi everyone,
At some point in its life my nc has had a new seat lock fitted but its so annoying having two keys.
Is it possible to take the lock apart and make my ignition key fit it?

I know Ford locks of the 80s 90s you can buy the lock internals and if you know how to read the key you can match the bits you put inside the lock to your key to eliminate having different keys.

If you take the seat lock and your ignition key to a locksmiths they will sort it.

I've not got a VFR, so don't know. Does it look like you can take the seat lock apart? More importantly does your ignition key fit it the seat locks key hole (as there is are left and right profiled keys)?
If yes to the two above questions, I should be able to help as I have been a Locksmith for the past 24 years.

Thanks for the help guys, all sorted. Quite pleased really.
went down to locksmiths this morning they said no problem doing it but the lock does not come apart so sorry. So this evening looked at it and the stainles front trim is crimped over the body stopping the barrel coming out. Trying to force it off would destroy it so i popped it on the lathe and turned the crimped part just to the point it would pop off with a really god pull.
messed about with the bits inside and got it working with the ignition key. All put back together now. All in all 30mins. Well pleased. Cheers.

Woah! In what way did you 'mess about' with the bits inside? Just rearrange, or cut the little bits? And photos during? Keen to try this rather than buying a lock set
