Due to not having an original Coerce gear lever (which fits on the spline shaft on the engine end) I've had to use the Honda Item, It looks like the Coerce one is kinked out further from the engine which in turn moves the rod further out so it doesn't fail on the rearsets.
I've got around this by running an upside down shift pattern, which I prefer anyway - just need to get used to it.
The Honda gear arm has a captive left hand thread female rose joint attached, meaning I'd have to use a gear rod with male ends, so I ordered a right hand rose joint for the other end.
Measured up and decided that I'd need a rod of 270mm total length - I ordered from the chap on e.bay who is absolutely superb, we had a chat over the phone and 2 days later my brand spanking titanium gear rod arrived. His ID is Underboat96, came with a little business card with a lovely NSR on it and titled 'honda enthusiast'.
I purposely ordered it a bit too long so I could shorten it little by little as required and in the end only took 3mm off each end.
