What does everyone use? looking in the parts list the head/downpipe gaskets are different to the rear manifold gaskets but I've got everything apart and measuring up it looks like the 40x35mm gaskets would do for all 6.. Anyone know any different?
Annoyingly Dave Silvers have the 2 rear manifold gaskets in stock but the head/downpipe gaskets are back order.

Re: NC30 exhaust gaskets
I got mine from wemoto, used 4 copper gaskets for the head joints and 2 aluminium fibre gaskets for the rear manifold to downpipes. Seems to work a treat. £1.27 each.
I based my choice on the fact that copper gaskets were originally fitted to my heads and the parts list shows the rear manifold gaskets as a different part number, so i deduced that must be the other type.

Over the course of several NC30s and a couple NC35s, I've used both types - copper ring and aluminium fibre - in all 6 locations and neither have proved to be any better or worse than the other. The important bit is you have a gasket in there, but you've no need to worry about the exact type used.

Re: NC30 exhaust gaskets
Thanks for the replies. I'm not having any luck getting these, thought of all the bits I need some copper exhaust gaskets would be the easiest! Ordered the first set from M&P, 7 days later got the wrong sizes (in the right bag) delivered, ordered some more from an Ebay company in Doncaster that got posted next day 6 days ago (still never seen them), not replied to my message. Thinking I might do like the good old days and walk into the nearest bike shop and swap money for them over a counter!

Re: NC30 exhaust gaskets
The two types of OE Honda exhaust gaskets are dimensionally and structurally identical, the only difference is that the ones in the head joints (18291-MN5-650) are bare copper finish whereas those in the manifold joint (18291-MR8-000) have a grey graphite coating on them.
It`s perfectly acceptable to use the MN5 type or some `pattern` equivalent in all 6 positions - personally I`ve never had good results with the flat section aluminium & fibre composite type gaskets so I always stick with the OE-style copper rings.
