NC30 Coerce rearset Q
Hello all, I picked up some used Coerce rearsets for my NC30, trouble is that the gear change link rod is missing.
I've got the rearset pedal and lever / swivel on the engine side.
Does anyone know if coerce supply their own link arm as standard with the kit or do they work with the honda link arm (which I don't have either) I would think they are different due to the revised rearset position?
If anyone has a Coerce link arm and are in a position to measure the length end to end I'd very much appreciate it please, I can get something made up then. Alternatively, if anyone has one for sale, please get in touch.
Tom

Re: NC30 Coerce rearset Q
Thanks i'd prefer to know the actual length of the coerce one if someone has one to measure rather than guestimate the length and get the pedal angle wrong.
I was thinking of making one myself from ally on the lathe, but the ebay seller looks to do a good job for a decent price. Plus i'd have to buy a lh die, so that could be the way to go.

I can measure mine when I get home and tell you length.pptom wrote:Thanks i'd prefer to know the actual length of the coerce one if someone has one to measure rather than guestimate the length and get the pedal angle wrong.

Re: NC30 Coerce rearset Q
I gather the Coerce kit uses a replacement little gear arm on the spline? I've not got one of those, but am using the Original Honda one, so its maybe a little different as I need a male end to screw into the existing non removable rose joint here (coerce rod has female ends I've since found out, Std has male ends). Going up the garage tonight to have a look and measure up.
If I scratch my head and decide to make an Ally coerce replica Zippy I'll give you a shout.
*edit* just had a look around and I can't find any left hand helicoil kits, since the Coerce rods are ally I wouldn't want to make a replica without helicoil inserts as I would think the threads would be a weak point, especially with the pulling and pushing forces on them. Looks like I'll be going honda style rod (in titanium from the ebay seller) with male ends and using female rose joints.
