je pistons or what?

Post by jonathan »

My nc23k needs barrels due to a lack of compression. What's the best repair method? Ive found some chinese oversize pistons but not sure of the quality. Can you get new linners or is my only option to source some je pistons?

I'm not up to speed with the cbr so unsure if the oe barrels have a liner, if they do you can get new liners fitted so that would be an option.
If tts do a je kit id say it will be liners so easy to over bore to a non standard piston size.
Don't know if Honda do oversized pistons but don't think any of the manufacturers have any pistons for anything this age.

No liners, TTS do JE pistons at about £550 plus you then need it overbored so its not a cheap conversion
