MC28 calipers fit NC30

Post by shawntex »

My calipers are crap all the pistons corroded and pitted but I found a minty set cheap from an MC28sp just wondering if anyone knows if they will fit?
Just cant see spending the money for pistons as they are quite pricey.

Dont think so as im pretty sure RVF calipers fit a MC28 so therefore MC28 calipers wont fit a NC30, could be wrong though.

Have you looked at aftermarket piston and seal kits? there not that expensive

Only ones I can find are stupid expensive and I dont' think anyone supplies the 25.5 mm piston, guess I could take my chances with another set of NC30 calipers and hope they aren't trash. Any one have a good set the are willing to post to US for a reasonable price? Or know of a source?

They wont fit.

Stock calipers are great once rebuild, do it properly once adn theyll last a lifetime, well worth it if your keeping the bike.

AS above though, cheaper piston kits can be had on ebay.
