NC35 radiators for racing?
I've just busted both my standard top and bottom radiators from the tyre rubbing.
Just wondering if there's some good aftermarket ones for racing that people recommend?
For an NC30-35.
And slightly bigger capacity would be good.

i have used quite a few chinese ones that are about 15-20% more capacity than standard, nicely made and do keep the engine cooler, my nc35 will run at about 80-85 on a warm day using these type of radiators. they have got cheaper and cheaper over the last couple of years and some even come with silicone hose kits included.
When i first got the bike it had an unknown set of exhaust maifold pipes on which sat very close to the rads and if i tried to mount the rads so they didnt rub the front wheel then the downpipe would basically boil the water in the radiators. i fitted a full Tyga system last year and the angle of the manifold pipe was a lot sharper so it didnt have contact with the radiators, problem solved i thought...
however i was still rubbing through the larger capacity ones (top rad) as i run a very soft front end, so had to revert back to standard size rads for the last couple of meetings this year. in warm weather the bike would regularly run at 90+ degrees which isnt great for power production.
theres a balance to get right between:
exhaust type
suspension set-up
any 'ram-air' mods (i had this fitted but you lose a lot of the space between wheel and radiator as it sits lower to allow the air pipe to flow into the airbox)
how far through the yoke you put your forks
and the radiator size you run!!

I hear what you're saying.
Doesn't seem to be any win.
I'm running:
- Tyga full exhaust
- Custom radiator mounts to pull them back as far as possible
- Matris 25mm cartridges etc. in the forks
- Forks flush with the top triple clamp
- 'HRC' air box tray
Just no idea of what quality radiators you can get...
