Mis read the manual looking for the screws on the wrong side of all the carbs DOH!!!
They seem to be all set to 1 turn out.....

A lot of fuel where? If it's on the ground, then you've probably undone the drain screws, not the pilot screws.Pirates Cove wrote:Hi.

No the drain screw is on the opposite side of the card.
The exhaust is smelling of fuel.

Okay, I'm a little confused! There should be four pilot screws in the same spot as the NC30 ones shown in the manual. They should be set at 2 turns out though.
You've obviously had the carbs off, so are all the jets and needles as they should be?

Pirate is right
NC24 carbs have the 4 pilot screws in a different place on the outside of the carbs, they can be adjust with the engien running, but its fiddley.
Start with 2 full turns (720 degrees) out and go from there.
Between 2 and 2.5 turns.
Seat them all so they just about tighten up and back them all out 2 turns and try again.

I had a similar problem, traced to the CDI. Try getting hold of one to try before you go down the route of messing your carburation up!

have it set up properly, save the hassle.
Besides it smelling fuel at 2.5 turns out how does it run, pick up wise etc? Do you have the right plugs in it?
