RVF 17x4.5" rear wheel differences?

Post by TraversRIDE »

I've just had two of my 17x4.5" rear wheels blasted and have noticed differences from one wheel to the other.

1st: Manufactured 12/93
More of a square edge on the spokes & shallow directional arrows.

2nd: Manufactured 01/94
More of a radius on the spoke edges & deeper directional arrows.

Just wondering, does anyone know if one is an NSR250 MC28 wheel?
Or are the both RVF wheels?

Cheers, Cody.

NSR wheels used a conical wheel spacer behind the nut if I remember right.

Maybe the wheel patterns got a small update, or a different one was used and was more worn?

One could be a Delkevic.

who are they made by? They should have the makers stamp on them.. need to confirm they are both Honda wheels first.

Sorry, probably should have mentioned that they are both manufactured by Honda.
Inside the back of the spoke they have Honda cast in.

I'll try to get some photos up a little later on.

Inside of the spoke will tell more details...what does it say in each wheel? Enkei, Asahitec, Delkevic...?
