NC24 Radiator vs NC21 Radiator - Sizing???
Hello,
Can somebody please advise if the NC24 radiator is the same dimensions (brackets, etc) as the NC21 ?
If not can somebody provide the NC24 radiator dimensions (Length, width, height)
Cheers

Re: NC24 Radiator vs NC21 Radiator - Sizing???
Hi, the one on mine (NC24) is about 370 x 275 x 35 mm. Not including the plastic grill on the front for the depth (35).
Not too sure if that's standard as I haven't had it long and have no history, but it looks original.

Re: NC24 Radiator vs NC21 Radiator - Sizing???
Thanks for the reply with the dimensions.
NC21
370mm (Outer edges Left to right) - 166mm (main core top to bottom) - 32mm front to back (main core)
NC24
370 x 275 x 35
Looks like the NC24 rad is slightly larger top to bottom.

Re: NC24 Radiator vs NC21 Radiator - Sizing???
I swapped them in the past, direct fit didnt notice any differnece.
I just check my parts manual here.
1986 vfr400rg (nc21) radiator (19010ml0004)
1987 vfr400rh (nc24) radiator (19010ml0004)
it is listed as being the same radiator int he parts books.. i ddint notice any difference when i change my nc24 radiaotr to one from crash nc21
you can check here for both models.

shoudl be same radiator.
*there is possibility earlyl nc21 / late nc24 had differnet radiator.. i need to check more when i have time, but they should all swap no trouble even if diferent

Thank you for the feedback and checks on the radiators.
As you say it looks like they are the same.
Thanks again for confirming this.

I've swapped them around before without any troubles.. since the frames and forks are almost identical shouldn't have any troubles fitting either rad from a genuine bike. be aware with 2nd hand parts though as some bikes have had other rads shoe horned in to repair leaky onesFastMart wrote:Thank you for the feedback and checks on the radiators.
