Post by cjford23 »

Hi all new to forum so hi, just wondering if I can fit a nc24 engine to a nc21, and what's involved ive read that alls different is a sensor on engine, but looms different to accommodate it, mine has the crank sensor, but I cant find a running nc21 engine anywhere for the life off me, my piston is missing valve gone, barrel battered god know what previous owner done to it, I have bought as project so need know what's involved in the process of putting nc24 engine in ?? To install the motor from nc24, you need to install your crankshaft sensors nc21 and overrunning clutch assembly with nc21.

Yes you can! BUT! there is an old engine it is easier to remove the necessary parts and install the new NC24 ;)

timing is slightly different on nc24 though so perhaps its worth to put the nc24 ignition box?
