Bearings for NC24?
Hi All,
I'm currently restoring an NC24 for a customer, I need to replace main and big end bearings, plus 2 gearbox bearings. Can anyone kindly point me to a supplier? The usual suspects don't seem to stock engine parts for this bike

Re: Bearings for NC24?
Try using the parts fiches at www.cmsnl.com to find the part numbers required, then www.davidsilverspares.co.uk to search for the part using parts numbers. I tried 13224ML0405 and discovered 7 day lead time...
Costs on both sites about the same (after VAT) but Dave Silver seems to be more reliable and quicker.
Hope this helps you...?

As above, you can either look up the parts on cmsnl or just phone david silver spares (they have a great sales team and you can just tell them the bike and parts and theyll look up the part numbers themselves)
Probably most bearings will be on back-order from Japan. You don't specifically need the honda bearings as they will probably be NTN or Koyo or some other Japanese maker just packaged for Honda.

A place like simply bearings will proabbly be able to supply generic bearings cheaper and quicker if you have the exisitng bearings and can read the codse off them (or at least measure them up)

This is very helpful guys. Ive been struggling to identify the bearings, Steve at David Silver has been very helpful, but he can only source green bearing shells. I'll check those links out :)
