Checked valve clearances (need to buy 6 shims), pulled off sump (to find dropped shim but glad we did as it was full of gunk). Put side cover back with some lovely liquid gasket.
All that's left to do now is put in the new shims when I buy them, retap the thread which I accidentally stripped and put everything together. Add a battery and fuel to the equation and hopefully I can start this bike for the first time.

Went for a long blast (500Km) with an overnight stay. Just got back in.
The thing with these long rides is, I park up - get showered and go to the pub, and then I'm in bed by 9pm. And awake and raring to go by 7am again!

This month I've moved the 30 and 35 in and out the garage a couple of times and ordered a few nice bits from Japan but its a 3 week wait before they get shipped

Finally searched out the best roads Hampshire has to offer, and my god they didn't disappoint.
Why did I wait so long to ride them, the NC30 is made for fast road riding!

Fixed an oil leak that I caused and found out my regulator wires are fried, time to replace them and with some help upgrade to a Mosfet. Not been a good few weeks.
