The rubber thing that the surrounds the plunger that is pushed in by the brake lever.
Mine is starting to perish slightly. Where can I get a new one from? Are they hard to replace?
I'll have a look at the Haynes manual later.

I replaced mine, just got the part number off the microfich and ordered it from d.s.spares
