Kiss Racing, looking for some info.
Good morning chaps, I bought some race spares and this was in the box... All I know is it's made by Kiss Racing Japan, it looks a bit ott to just remove the bikes speed restriction. Does anyone know anything about these and what they actually do?

It is just a derestriction box. Kiss racing were an aftermarket tuning firm in Japan. They competing in the Japanese championships and the Suzuka 4 & 6 hour races

that is all it does, cuts the speedo limiter, cut it open and have a look inside, havent cut one of those open before but probably nothing at all just short the one wire to 12v. can use a mulimeter to check resistances if you dont want to cut it open, dead short wont have any resitanceColey wrote:Good morning chaps, I bought some race spares and this was in the box... most the speedo limit remover boxes plug in the ignition box end so they have to pass thru all the other wires of the cdi, which is why they look bigger.
you can get one that plugs into the clocks end but they are not so common. those are just two wires.

Thanks for the info, so it's just made to look massively overkill for the job it's doing then. The thing's bigger than most reg/rectifiers and weighs more too!
