rear showa shocks re-build

Post by greenhearts54 »

Hi,
Can the piggy back showa rear shocks be re-built. One of my rear shocks has started leaking oil

Can anyone recommend a company that do it.

Yes the rear shocks can be rebuilt. The tip is to put the right oil seal. (dimentions:12,5X24X5).The nitrogen tank to be filled with 75 psi nitrogen and the shock conteiner must be filled with 160 ml suspension oil w10.
I have rebuilt my suspention by myself.Perhaps someone may know a company to rebuilt your rear showa in your country.
