raising rear need side stand?

raised the rear on my nc30 but it leans a bit to far now when on the side stand

is the nc29 side stand a straight fit?or what about a nc35 one?thanks

Yes a nc29 stand bolts on but doesn't have the lower fairing bracket as on the nc30 stand I removed one from an old stand with a dremel on the spot welds it's still held in place by the bolts when fitted up.
Depending on how much you've raised the rear you might find bike now stands too upright on the stand and could easily fall over as the arm sits at a more vertical angle when bolted to the nc30 frame I ground a bit from the stop which helps but bike still sits a bit too precariously this is on a 18 rear standard shock modified dog bone.

ah cheers dave,i dont need the fairing bracket but i have the same set up as you(modified dog bone,18 inch wheel,standard shock)so thanks for the heads up,but on the stand i have now its VERY leaned over so gota try a cbr one!

I have the same problem with the NC29 stand, it put the bike far too upright, and also clashed a bit too much with my exhaust requiring spacers to allow the stand to sit in the 'up' position.
I've since gone back to the heavily leaning NC30 stand, but I think the best solution would be to have the standard stand adapted to your specific ride height, which is something I should probably do at some point!

Yes it's not the best solution wouldn't take much to knock bike off the stand the angle is wrong unsure if it could be heated and bent slightly out or does anyone know of another stand that fits better.
Would I be right in thinking it's cast or malleable and cannot be heated welded or drilled to extend the nc30 stand?

what about the nc35 stand as that is 17 inch rear wheel?does that make a difference on the nc30?
