battery hook up

alright guys i just got my bike and i had to charge the battery. my dumbs forgot what wires go where there is the obvious pos and neg wires but then there are the two coming through the front and the small one with the little box attached to it. Im pretty sure everything except one goes to negative but can someone confirm this.

What model you got.
Why don't you download the wiring diagram from the manuals page, might help.
As far as I remember there's only two large wires and a frame return so any others could be after market.

it is a 91 gsxr400 japanese model though i just hooked em up how i thought they were. I have power but the bike does not start the guy i bought it from stored it over the winter with gas and no stabil, is it safe to assume the carb is clogged up?

I leave mine over winter with no problems so would check the usual spark at plugs and fuel in the bowls before pulling anything major apart.
