Fork Seal compatibility
Hey guys, I'm trying to find a more cost effective option for fork seals for my RVF, other than the eBay junk. All Balls do a set for the. VFR750 - will they fit?
Measurements as follows;
35-1028 oil seal – 41mm x 54.3 / 54.05 mm x 11 mm
36-1016 dust seal – 41mm x 54.4mm x 12.5mm
Cheers.

Re: Fork Seal compatibility
Using FSK fork seals, claimed to be low stiction. Been in 12 months no leaks, bit cheaper than OEM in Australia.

I wasn't planning on Pattern, All Balls is an american brand that seems to be well reviewed online.
Where did you land the FSK Magg?

Re: Fork Seal compatibility
Helps if I use the correct name, SKF fork seals made by the SKF bearing people. Not sold by normal SKF bearing resellers, I had to contact SKF head office to find my local supplier.

I tried to be clever & fitted quality aftermarket NOK seals - they leaked & were less supple & totally different design to the NOK seals that came from Honda.

Re: Fork Seal compatibility
The OE fork seal set 51490-MN8-305 fits pretty much every Honda with 41mm forks including VFR750, NC30 and NC35.
I would also advise that you avoid pattern seals...

Can't go wrong with OEM. Correctly fitted and unabused forkseals have lifetime spans in decades... not worth messing with anything else.
I fitted some once marked as "Original Japanese quality" and they lasted less than 6 months.
