Re: Rvf paddock stand will it fit a nc30
Hi guys, I need some information. I have just recently brought a NC30 and have now purchased a rear paddock stand. I measured the inner axle depth as 65mm but the support shaft on the stand is 95mm long. The stand is non-adjustable, I'm wondering if the shop sent me an incorrect stand??

There is usually a bit of shaft sitting out to make sure that the wheel sits in the middle of the stand for support/weight distribution?at least on mine...

Thanks Icemestro, I'm now fairly certain the stand is incorrect. The support shaft is only 27mm in diameter and rear wheel sits almost directly over the right wheel of the stand when raised. Actually, I can't even raise the bike on the stand as it would tip over to the right without me holding on.Icemaestro wrote:There is usually a bit of shaft sitting out to make sure that the wheel sits in the middle of the stand for support/weight distribution?at least on mine...

I absolutely love riding the NC30 btw.

Yup, that doesn't look right..also the centre shaft doesn't look the right size - it should slot in reasonably tightly (maybe .5 or .25mm narrower in diameter than the inside of the...swingarm/sprocketey bit. Odd because any single sided swingarm would probably stick to the right then??

As Icemestro said, the shaft diameter on that stand is to small for the hub.

I have just brought from a friend, a triumph stand it looks the same as above, I was planning on cutting it down and sleeveing it, looks like you need to do the same.
An expensive slip otherwise.

Honda used two main types of axle, the larger one for the RC30, RV45, NC30 and NC35, and the smaller one for the VFR750F/800. It's usually one or the other, so most likely they've sent the wrong version.
