random hose
Hi I have taken my tank off to give my bike the needed deep clean it needs.
I found this pipe that isn't attached to anything, it is rock hard and would like to replace but I'm unsure where it attaches to.
It is the brownish pipe below.
I'm also unsure where about this fits, I believe it is a part of the brake lines.

Thanks for your help
Pete

Re: random hose
That very old looking hose seems to be the vaccum hose.
Check it's attached to the side of the rear right cylinder (#3); if that's what it is, speak to Rick Oliver, he sells silicone ones.

Re: random hose
yep its deffo not a factory hose, as above i suspect it has popped off your fuel tank tap, find the other end of it, and again as above it goes to the cylinder if its the vaccum hose, and once agian Rick O sells new hose that is the proper stuff unlike that stuff which appears to be like aquarium air-hose which does fit but the heat and oil / fuel vapour will harden it out in no time.
