NC24 Fork rebuild
Hi, I'm trying to rebuild the forks on my NC24 with new bushes and seals, I have stripped the R/H fork and when I try to put it back together it binds. If I slide the stanchion into the slider with just the bottom bush on the end, it slides down smoothly until it gets to the bottom brake caliper mounting lug. Then it goes tight and is hard to push. You can push it past this spot and it gets loose again. They are OEM bushes and it does this with the original bush as well. Is this normal? Cheers

Sounds like the tube is bent or the caliper lugs have been overtightened.check the straightness of stanchion and the lugs for crushing.good luck.

Thanks for the reply.
I rolled the stanchion tube and it seems flat. I guess that means the slider is bent? I can't think of another possibility. Ah I really don't want to have to spend more on new sliders.
